Amkor Technology, Inc. announced phase 2 of its Arizona Advanced packaging and test campus. Driven by strong customer commitments that have surpassed the 33,000 square meters of cleanroom capacity planned for phase 1, the phase 2 expansion is expected to add 60,000 square meters and bring the campus to approximately 93,000 square meters of cleanroom space. The expansion increases the project’s planned investment to approximately $12 billion. Amkor’s Arizona campus, which includes wafer bump, probe, assembly and test capabilities, is being developed to support long-term demand for advanced semiconductor packaging and test services in the U.S. Phase 2 expands manufacturing scale, and together with phase 1 is expected to support a workforce of more than 3,500 Arizona-based employees. Amkor’s Arizona campus is the first OSAT production site in the U.S. for advanced packaging in high volume, giving customers access to a full domestic turnkey manufacturing platform. Construction of phase 2 is anticipated to begin late 2027, with completion expected by the end of 2029. Amkor’s Arizona 170-acre campus allows for further expansion as needed to support customer demand.

Align Technology, Inc. announced on August 27, 2026, the Board of Directors of the company appointed Quentin Blackford, 48, to the Board, effective August 31, 2026. In connection with Mr. Blackford’s appointment, the Board increased the size of the Board from ten to eleven directors. The Company expects Mr. Blackford to stand for election at the next annual meeting of stockholders, which is expected to be held in May 2027. On August 27, 2026, Andrea L. Saia notified the Board that she will resign as a member of the Board, effective September 23, 2026. Ms. Saia’s decision to resign from the Board is not because of any disagreement with the Company on any matter relating to the Company’s operations, policies or practices, nor was she removed for cause. The Board has determined to automatically decreased the size of the Board from eleven to ten directors, effective immediately upon Ms. Saia’s resignation. Mr. Blackford currently serves as President and Chief Executive Officer of iRhythm Technologies. He has served in this role since 2021. Before joining iRhythm, Mr. Blackford served as Chief Operating Officer of Dexcom, where he helped lead the company’s global operations, corporate strategy, and international growth initiatives. Previously, he held senior finance and leadership positions at NuVasive and Zimmer Holdings. Mr. Blackford currently serves on the board of Alphatec Holdings and is a Certified Public Accountant (inactive). He earned dual Bachelor of Science degrees in Accounting and Business Administration from Grace College. Since joining the Board in 2013, Ms. Saia has played an important role in supporting Align's growth and transformation as a global medical device and digital dentistry leader. Her insights and counsel have contributed to the Board's oversight of the Company's strategic priorities, governance practices, and long-term growth initiatives.
